Dinner Cruise

I almost forgot about posting pictures from this amazing dinner cruise I took on the Seine River last night.

The food was FABULOUS! I couldn't believe how amazing it was - I wish there was a way to share a little bite with all of you. :)

While we were on the cruise, the boat stopped by the Eiffel Tower at 11pm when it was sparkling so we could see it all lit up and twinkly. It was BEAUTIFUL! I know you're probably tired of the Eiffel Tower pictures but I HAD to post these - one of me (because I was all dressed up) and one of the whole thing because my boss didn't get the whole thing when he took my picture and I like the whole thing lit up! I hope you like them and I promise, no more pictures of the Eiffel Tower!

For Rachel

You're a wonderful travel buddy. It was sad to see you go. I came back to my hotel room and the little prison cell of a room felt huge without all your crap! LOL - just kidding! :)

I had fun with you checking out the sites - rain or shine...

When I look back on this adventure with you I'll think of metro rides, walking in rain, beautiful views from the Arc de Triomphe, chocolate and banana crepes, late nights and eyeliner! :)

I look forward to wherever our next adventure takes us!
Safe travels through the rest of Europe.
I love you!

The Musee d'Orsay

We went to a great art museum - the Musee d'Orsay! We got to see paintings by van Gogh and Monet and I found another artist I really like - Camille Pissarro. The Louvre was boring because besides the Mona Lisa, I didn't recognize any of the work there but I knew stuff at the d'Orsay and I found it so cool. Below are some of my favorites...

Vincent van Gogh
Claude Monet
Camille Pissarro
and another painting I loved (by Edgar Degas)

Bryan Brothers Going Strong

Mike and Bob Bryan are continuing to win in the men's doubles - yippee!! Their #2 match was against fellow Americans Sam Querrey and John Isner. It was a great match and too bad that both teams couldn't win. Above are M&B at their first match and below is M&B shaking hands with John and Sam after their match.

Another Sunny Day in Paris

We have been busy ladies lately! The sun has been out - see how pretty! - so we've taken full advantage of trying to see the sights and soak in some Vitamin D!!! :)
We planned on going up the Eiffel Tower one day but it was so hot and the lines were so long that we decided to wait (probably a bad idea since we never made it back - we decided to sleep instead!). We got some great pictures though...

Afterward we went to the Luxembourg Gardens, which were beautiful. Jordan (my co-worker's friend who has been hanging out with us), Rachel and I just sat and relaxed. It was so nice to sit in the sun and people-watch. While it's called a garden, it's just a bunch of grass for the most part but it was pretty and I enjoyed being there.

That night we went to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa. What a freaking disappointment. It cost about $10 to see this famous painting from about 15 feet back and they had some glass over it which distorted any pictures you tried to take of it. Go into any museum and you can stand so close to every other piece of work but not the Mona Lisa. I know it's the most famous painting in the world and I'm glad I saw it but geez!

That night we went to a pub and had a great time. I loved the name - The Frog and Princess! As my last picture for this post, here's one of us three girls.
