Quick Update

So I'm not going to Paris afterall. That's okay - it can be chilly over there and I bet the weather will be nicer here! Plus, I don't have to leave Shaun and MAYBE I can get something done around the house. :)

Its been awhile...

...but I'm still here. Just been busy (same old excuse) with nothing really new to say. Let's see, what can I tell you??

- Shaun came down to Miami for a few days. It was so nice to have him there. We both had a terrible time getting home though. His flight was delayed and he ended up having to spend another night (not a bad thing!) but then got delayed again the next day but made it home at a decent hour. I got jerked all around and ended up having to spend the night at JFK and didn't get home until the next day.

-Shaun and I baby-sat for some friends the week I got back from Miami for their 2 year old and 6 month (I think if I remember correctly) old daughters. We had so much fun and Shaun did an awesome job with both girls. And, we got both to bed by 8:15pm! I can't take too much credit in that though - Rey & Ann have some kick-butt parenting skills that I am so going to learn when it's our turn so our kids are as good as going to bed as theirs!

- We are headed to Pittsfield, MA on May 7th for my friend Erin's wedding. I am her Matron-of-Honor and am so happy to celebrate this big day with her. Plus we get to stay with some dear friends that I love very much and am excited to see.

- Hopefully on May 9th we'll head over to Homer, NY to see my friend Lauren. You may remember that back in October I blogged about Lauren giving birth to Grace even though she wasn't due until December. Gracie is a healthy, happy little girl and I cannot wait to see her. Her baptism is on the 10th so I'm hoping we can work everything out to be there. And help Lauren post-celebrate her 30th, which is on the 8th (the day of Erin's wedding).

- I'm home until the end of May and then I'm going back to Paris for work. Not sure of my dates yet but once I have them, I'll post them.
